We condemn these attacks that occurred at a time when we are closest to peace and expect an immediate end to these assaults. We once again reiterate our promise to elevate the struggle that BavĂŞ Teyar supported, saying, "We are not afraid of death."
Cuma H. İbrahim, one of the unforgettable names in Kurdish theater known as Bavê Teyar, and Qamishlo Canton Co-Chair Manîce Haco Heyder were killed at the Tishrin Dam as a result of Turkey's attacks on civilians.
Attacks on civilians who are trying to prevent assaults in the Tishrin region of North and East Syria (Rojava) continue. These attacks must stop immediately. Targeting civilians is a war crime.
